Carpenter rod testing .

Guys ,

Went fishing yesterday to P.Ratu with 6 others , we fished 2 boats team and what was planned a tuna fishing session turned out to be a rod testing session , specifically Carpenter BC75MH ( rated PE3-5 only ) when
I accidentally hooked a 5m whale shark .

My team mates " pass " the chance to fight the fish and we managed to transfer the rod to the other boat where the other 4 anglers took turns to fight the fish , in the end the leader broke .

Not that we want to boat the fish but rather , I asked them to try and retrieve the new type of Gombong lure being tested by yours trully for
final approval for release in the upcoming Nov./Dec. fishing season .

BC75MHnya impresif sekali pak Jon, Whale Shark seharusnya plankton feeder; itu kejadiannya foul-hook atau ikannya mis-persepsi dengan poppernya pak Jon? anyhow it's an impressive catch, I believe you guys manage to release that lovely creature safe and sound.

Whale Shark nya kena foul hook , saya lagi target kan small tuna pada waktu dan saya rasa tidak berasa apa apa tuh selain merasa di cubit cubit saja , akhirnya leader nya putus setelah 1.5 jam bergantian simulasi mancing ikan gede .
