GT tuh fight nya dgn initial high drag terus ke extreme high drag , short intense pressure all the way till the fish is defeated , seperti sprint kalau dalam terminology athletic . Kalau YFT , moderate drag setting all the way , seperti marathon atau long distance running .
Beda terrain nya , GT tuh tinggal di tempat yang banyak karang , kalau tuna tuh di air dalam dan tidak banyak bahaya benang putus krn dibawa ke karang .
Sekali kali GT dan sekali kali Tuna , jadi engga bosan .
Hari ini gw memang gak dapat. yg laen pake popper kecil gw pake popper gede. Niatnya biar dapetnya yg gede kayak kemaren tapi ternyata hari ini tunanya kecil-kecil.

Basically this is what happened , Adrianus was holidaying in Pelabuhan Ratu , a resort town on the south coast of West Java some 3 hrs drive from Jakarta , he was informed by the local charter captain that YFTs
have resurfaced again after a month or two complete absence on Monday and Adrianus , in turn , called me to come and fish Pelabuhan Ratu .
I could not do it on Monday but turned up Tuesday afternoon where we started fishing at around 16.30 hrs , within 90 minutes we have managed to have 4 strikes and 3 of these were successfully boated , a 25 kg by myself and a 35+ kg by Adrianus with a bonus of 2 kg YFT by yours trully toward the dusk .
Another friend who was supposed to join us came late by another boat , his plan was to come aboard the boat we are on but by the time he arrived , I was fighting the first YFT of the day and he decided to just cast into the school , he got a solid hook-up and proceed to fight the big fish weighing 40 kg which took awhile to boat , hence the plan to come aboard was scrapped .
Meanwhile I had another strike on my lighter outfit but that fish broke off and not long after , Adrianus had a solid hook up which takes awhile to
subdue . By then the light has started fading and I managed to hook a small YFT before we have to return to the berthing place .
We started calling all our friends and Adrianus sent email from his mobile to alert other anglers , the next day came 3 others and with Adrianus , went fishing . They caught 9 YFTs which size I have not been informed yet , hopefully they take photos and post them here soon .
Another group will fish on Friday and I am tempted to come along but domestic matters may not give me that luxury .
All of these were done by popping , we hardly troll anymore nowaday .
There are a few charter operator there but Capt. Wewen Cs. are the most reliable and the most EXPENSIVE , around US$. 500.- per day , foods n drinks are excluded , tips are optional , based on 10 hrs max. fishing day . :P
There is a private boat for charter but generally on case by case basis ,
fishing onboard Black Watch 40 , for this you budget for US$. 1000.- per day and by appoinment only .
