Four of us went fishing in New Zealand at the north island from 17th to 21st March 2008.
Fishing report:
Day 1 - weather was bad. Caught 4 king fishes before we gave up due to big waves
Day 2 - excellent weather. Caught almost 90 kingfishes and lost 30 due to busted lines and drop off as we were using barbless hooks. Almost non-stop action. Lost 15 jigs in total
Day 3 - weather was bad. Caught 5 snappers, 1 grouper and 2 leather jackets in 3 hours before we gave up.
Day 4 - weather improving. Caught about 30 king fishes before we gave up due to the waves
Day 5 - caught almost 50 king fishes in 4 hours and dropped about 20 more. Lost about 10 jigs
Lost about 25 jigs in total
Great fishing - almost incredible and really really excellent
Largest fish caught was almost 20 kgs
5 fishes were eatten by bronze whaller sharks that were about 10 feet long. These sharks are very fast swimmers.

hallo Pak L,
