Well-defined Jim!
Hope you can bring up your knowledge of flyfishing to a lot of people in this forum, after all it is a great, fine, beautiful part- of fishing!
I remember one of my friends, a big guy always doing fishing with big poles,in rain or storm. He went to Martha's Vinyard and saw all those flyfishers catching their fishes, I will never touch that sweeping thing!!
I waited for the right moment to show him some flycasting and now he's addicted! Writes,fly-tier, kayak, etc.
Anyway, have you ever heard about the Nuigini bass? Reputed to be one of world's toughest fighting fish( Papuan black bass), seems great to do a expedition to Irian Barat, perhaps Fishy or Sportfisherman knows more about these kind of bass?
Take care,
Victor.
