Split tail.....this is a very popular fly among malaysian flyfishers...who created this was never a question as there was no story behind it but this is something that works on most fresh water fishes.
to be honest i never did enjoy much success with this patent...as this fly requires one to strip in fast...and i dont really enjoy fast action flies.
never the less...many who did can swear they never go on a fishing trip without this fly....yet again this an easy to tie fly


try to make for yourself how its tied. materials are kip tail, cock neck saddle and flash
