Default Some usefull local flies

How many of you here have ever caught any fish using a Wuff or Adams dry fly or a stonefly nymph?...hands up!
i guess there not too many if theres any at all.

the question is.... are you tying the flies to attract the fishes or to attract the attention of humans who view it? there are some very beautifull fly patent created, some looks like a real insect or a bait fish...but weather they catch any fish is a different story all together.

here i like to show some effective local created flies, some of them are my own creation and some are from friends. we keep them simple , easy to tie and most of all they are created to suit our local asian fishes.
hope some of these patent would be usefull to you all

these are the material that i usually use. i prefer natural furs and feathers ...and the thing is they are not at all expensive. ..infact any furs or feathers could be use...from your pet cats, dogs or birds

i usually use small sized hooks...

this fly patent originated from the famous Hamilton Killer fly...a new zealand patent. recreated to suit local waters. best for Pacus , peacock bass and any midwater predators. suited for fishing along the weeds and vegetation,as its hook is well protected by the flank feathers.
