Hamzy was right. 7,2 m is quite a long pole; However, it also depend on the water depth. If it only 5 m, we would recommend 4,5 or 5,4 m pole. It works better and lighter than 7,2. I guess you figured it out already hehehehe...
In my case, I put some weight (stainless steel) at the back knob to balance the front and back to avoid arms fatigue.
Some of us even use braided line (PE) no.2 or 3, which is 5-10x stronger than nylon, tied with 10-12 lb double fluoro leader (about 50 cm long) in case we got the big ones.
Hehehehe 4 fingers for non-asian hands consider big (probably 5-6 fingers to ours)....
