My opinion you should bring popping n jigging gears medium to heavy (pe5 - 8 ). if u want to do jigging usually in bali we use 300-500 gram jigs the target such as ruby snapper, amberjack or dogtooth... and for popping as usual only GT's.
There's one quite famous hotspot for popping, jigging n trolling in batu abah nusa penida to get there u should rent a boat, I usually rent my "langganan" mr.Doyok for full day trip starting from 6.00 to 16.00 it cost u about 2.5 milion rupiah. after fishing we can relax at lembongan island for while.
Tulamben also a great spot for fishing mahi2s (common dolphinfish),Rainbow Runners also sometimes Tuna. but in tulamben there're only traditional boat/jukung (small boat with outrigger) and only can carry 2 person/boat.
