kebetulan dulu saya pernah sekolah meteorologi kalo mau tau cuaca timgggal cari foto satelit, wind chart, dan pressure chart, untuk pressure chart ini yang significant sedangkan angin umtuk prediksi arah hujan/badai, nah foto satelit buat ngeliat posisi awan pada saat tersebut, logikanya kalo gak ada awan kan gak ada hujan tul gak ? untuk data ngambil dari bureau of meteorologi australia website http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/satellite/
untuk tanda L (low press) H (hi press) udara akan bergerak dari tekanan tinggi ke tekanan yang lebih rendah, Jika tekanan rendah L dibawah 1010 ada kemungkinan hujan lokal/kecil jika dibawah 1000 dipastikan di daerah tersebut ada badai cyclone daerah sekitarnya akan terkena dampaknya, logika semakin besar perbedaan pressure semakin besar angin dan cyclone yang terjadi

berdasar data diatas untuk hari ini 8 jan cuaca cerah angin 10-20 kt lebih rendah dar sabtu minggu kemarin ,
untuk gelombang laut saya ndak ngerti tapi bisa browse di www.bom.gov.au
maaf kalo ada yang lebih ngerti masalah cuaca ogut hanya sekedar sharing

wah kalo 1-2 hari masih bagus ndak tahu tgl.13 jan harijumat atau sabtu di cek dulu soalnya untuk di indo banyak di pengaruhi cyclone di aussie nah kalo di aussi terjadi cyclone lebih baik ndak mancing , nah kemarin itu di ausie ada cyclone isabel... di indo aja dampaknya kapal kapal/pesawat pada tewas gimana di aussie sana ??? parah. untung nya di indo gak ada cyclone paling kena ekornya aja.... hehehehehe

Synoptic Situation: A TROPICAL LOW 996 hPa is located over the northern Top End.
At 12 noon it was near latitude 12.8S, longitude 133.6E, about 85 km east of
Jabiru, moving west about 12 km/h. The LOW is expected to continue moving
towards the west, and be located near the west coast early on Saturday.
Locally destructive wind gusts to 120 km/h are possible with thunderstorms over
the northern Darwin-Daly District. Widespread damaging wind gusts up to 90 km/h
and large waves are expected to affect the north coast between Daly River Mouth
and Elcho Island today and tomorrow. Heavy monsoonal rainfall is likely to cause
widespread flooding about the north coast and adjacent inland, significant
stream rises and flooding of low lying areas over the remainder of the Top End
today and tomorrow.
The Northern Territory Emergency Service advises that people should secure loose
outside objects and seek shelter when the conditions deteriorate. Driving
conditions may be hazardous - avoid flooded roads and watercourses.
The next warning is due to be issued by 5:00 pm Friday.

TROPICAL CYCLONE ADVICE NUMBER 1

at 5:00 pm CST [4:30 pm WDT] Friday 2 March 2007
A CYCLONE WATCH has been declared for coastal and island communities from DALY
RIVER MOUTH in the Northern Territory to MITCHELL PLATEAU in Western Australia.
At 4 pm CST [4.30 pm WDT] a TROPICAL LOW was centred inland over the northern
Top End about 75 kilometres south southeast of OENPELLI and moving west at
12 kilometres per hour towards the Timor Sea.
MONSOONAL GALES with gusts to 90 kilometres per hour are currently being
experienced along the north coast of the Top End and may extend southwest to
DALY RIVER MOUTH during Saturday. There is the possibility of a cyclone forming
in the Timor Sea on Sunday with GALES developing in coastal areas between DALY
RIVER MOUTH and MITCHELL PLATEAU.
